Primary Health Care Revitalisation Division (PHCRD), established in 2009, is responsible for expanding the reach of Basic Health services at across the country, while considering the needs of disadvantaged and unreached population groups. Basic Health services are a set of evidence-based, primary health care services, delivered through the district health offices and urban health health centres and clinics in partnerships with municipalities. PHCRD works with district health offices and municipalities to strengthen local health systems that are both responsive and accountable to clients’ needs.
